Chicago, Illinois -- Event tickets are now available for purchase for the Eastland Disaster 100th Anniversary Commemoration Weekend set for July 24-26, 2015 hosted by the Eastland Disaster Historical Society.
The commemoration weekend events will honor the victims, survivors, heroes, first responders, and all others involved in the Eastland Disaster. The weekend has also been strategically planned to bring families together, both immediate and extended families, with the hopes of new friendships and connections being built by meeting other Disaster-related families.

Chicago, Illinois -- No one was held accountable for the 844 lives that perished in the 1915 Eastland Disaster: "Not guilty" verdicts were returned on all charges in the criminal trial after the Disaster. Now, 100 years later, the (mock) criminal case is being reopened with new attorneys, a new judge, and new charges being brought against the defendants.
