On Thursday evening, November 1, 2001, WTTW hosted a small, by-invitation-only cocktail/reception. The invitees were the people and actors who appeared in "The Eastland Disaster" documentary. The evening concluded with all guests being thanked for their participation, followed by a private showing of the documentary.
