100th Anniversary Commemoration

Weekend of July 24-26, 2015

Please join us this summer as EDHS hosts the 100th anniversary commemoration of Chicago’s greatest loss-of-life tragedy. Individuals and families from around the world who are personally connected to the tragedy will be gathering to learn, remember, and build new relationships.

July 24

Public Ceremony

The riverwalk ceremony is open to the public.


July 25

8:30 -10:45 am

Families Chicago River Cruise

Attendees will enjoy a chartered 30-minute cruise along the Chicago River.

11 am - 12 noon

Public Ceremony

The “formal” riverwalk ceremony is open to the public.

12:30 - 1:30 pm

Families Luncheon

Enjoy a delicious meal while gathering and socializing with others.

2 - 5:30 pm

Connecting Families Program

A full slate of programs for the afternoon.

5:30 pm

Dinner Break

Enjoy the beautiful city of Chicago with your family and friends.

Sunset Ceremony & Concert

The riverwalk ceremony and concert are open to the public.

Connecting Families Open House & Museum Tour

Families come together one last time to interact, and to enjoy a museum tour.
